NIS Updates (posted 10/3/08)

October 7th - The NIS Team will remove the Pay Cycle Workbench menu item within the Payroll folder, and the Basic Compensation and Employee Information menu items within the Employee Maintenance folder from the NIS menu for those 2 days. These changes will occur at the start of business on 10/7/08 (6:30 AM in the morning) and will change back at the start of business on 10/9/08.

October 10th-13th - NIS Tools Upgrade - NIS will be unavailable starting at 4:00 AM in the morning on 10/10/08 to install a new system tools package. We will be testing the tools over the weekend. The system will be available again at 6:00 AM in the morning on October 13th.

October 13th - Columbus Day Holiday - Monday is Columbus Day and a holiday for State Employees.

Open Enrollment
Open Enrollment will be kicking off on October 20th. Be sure to have your NIS User ID and Password on hand so you will be able to go through the Open Enrollment process. If you do not know your NIS User ID contact your local HR staff. If you do not know your NIS Password click on the Forgot Password button above.
